Spring 2014

Well, Spring may finally be here in Northern Michigan.   Although this latest weather may have been a bit too much for most people, it really was nice to get a full winter in with great skiing and other outdoor recreational opportunities.    Plus, the early ice and large snow fall really did help the lake levels in our region.   Estimates are that Lake Michigan will be up more than 15 inches from last January.    I know on Spider Lake, water is almost up to my firepit breakwall, something I have not seen in over 10 years.   We are now at what appears to be more normal lake levels in our region and bayfront homes are already looking much better with the additional water in front.

Soon enough, we will all be spending time on the lakes and trails, enjoying what makes Northern Michigan one of the best places anywhere to live and visit.   If we can ever be of service regarding your real estate needs, please let us know.

Featured Listing of the Month   This downtown home  (Slabtown location - close to the beach) is one you must get in to truly appreciate.   It is better than new and not your typical downtown home.  Features include 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, new custom kitchen, large rooms, open floor plan, large corner lot and listed at $419K .
